How we collect information about you

We collect information about you when you purchase or book one of our products and services; sign up to our newsletters or make an enquiry (via email, over the phone or on our website).

What types of personal information we hold

We will process personal data in connection with enquiries, purchases and bookings of our products and services, which may include:

Our website and the information we collect

We collect visitor data and analyse traffic on our site for our own usage. This information helps us understand customer interests and helps us improve our website.

When we share your personal information with other organisations

We may share information with essential and relevant third parties for the purposes of providing you with a good or service – for example, gun fit measurements would be sent to our gunsmith.

As part of its business, we work with property owners, guides and partners in similar industries and other third parties. Any data collected on a third-party site and then subsequently shared with us under agreement with that company is subject to that company’s own privacy policy.

We will also, from time to time, run promotions with specially selected business partners. During registration, you have the option to opt-out of third party sharing for marketing purposes. If you opt-out, you will not receive material or promotions from any third parties we have agreements with.

When your personal information is transferred outside the UK or the EEA

While we are based in the UK but data we collect from you may be stored and processed in and transferred to a partner or supplier outside of the UK or EEA (European Economic Area). These countries may not have data protection laws equivalent to those in force in the EEA. In this instance we endeavour to ensure suitable safeguards are in place, for example by using contractual agreements to stipulate the safe processing of the data we share.

At certain times, we may also run contests or promotions that exist outside our normal contact channel. If you choose to participate in these contests or promotions, we will use your personal information to contact you regarding the promotion or contest you entered.

Data retention

We will hold your personal information for as long as required for us to provide our products and services to you and for as long as we have legitimate business needs, for example where we are under certain binding legal obligations, where information is required for audit purposes, by the government or other institutions or where we have another legitimate business reason.

Online Gift Voucher Orders

We use PayPal to process our online payments. We do not store credit card details nor do we share financial details with any 3rd parties.

We may change this privacy notice on occasion to reflect changes in the law or our privacy practices. If we make amends to our privacy policy, we will publish the revision date. Please note that this policy compliments, but does not supersede, our separate Terms and Conditions. If there is a circumstance in which the two documents conflict, Terms and Conditions shall take precedence over this policy. We are a company headquartered in the UK. As such, the Terms and Conditions and this privacy policy are subject to the applicable laws of the United Kingdom of Great Britain. Any claim or proceeding arising under or otherwise concerning the Terms and Conditions or this privacy policy shall be conducted in the United Kingdom.
