The backdrop of a Stately Home and its grounds adds a special ambience to a day's Clay Pigeon Shooting and since we first "invented" the day at Stanway House some 25 years ago we have been adding to our list of shooting venues in all parts of the country.

A day's clay pigeon shooting can be arranged at a Stately Home for parties of minimum 20 but if you wish to entertain a smaller number then we can cater for you at our own shooting school.

The first part of the day includes tuition on the various sporting stands and, once the guns have mastered the basic techniques of clay pigeon shooting, a team and individual competition is then arranged.

Some teams of guns will shoot "straight through" and take a late lunch once shooting is finished, whilst others will enjoy a break in the middle of the day when luncheon is served in the house.
