Ian Coley
Ian has dedicated his life to shooting having begun his working life as a game keeper after leaving school. Initially he set up his own gun shop in Cheltenham, represented the English and British Clay Pigeon shooting teams at numerous disciplines and became coach of the British Olympic Clay Shooting Team. Ian now runs one of the most prominent sporting agencies in the country.

Ian freely admits that he take great pleasure from hosting a days shooting, and there is so much satisfaction in seeing clients enjoying themselves in the shooting field.

Simon Darch, Shop Manager
Simon has worked for Ian for over 25 years with 17 years as his shop manager. He has a wealth of shooting experience both in the field and he now hosts a number of shoot days for Ian.

He is an English International Clay Shooter and clients enjoy making full use of his shooting expertise and experience.

Margaret Devers,
Shooting Administration Co-ordinator.
Margaret joined Ian Coley Sporting in 1987 and has played a significant part in developing the sporting agency into what it is today. Margaret can help you with every aspect of your shoot day from its initial booking through to organising the hotels, co-ordinating gun permits for overseas clients and arranging loaders.

When not in the office Margaret can be found walking the beautiful paths of the Cotswolds and enjoying a day’s racing at Cheltenham.

Jim French,
Chief Instructor at Chatcombe Estate Shooting School.
Jim has worked for Ian as his chief shooting instructor for over 15 years either giving private lessons to individuals or arranging a corporate shoot day.

When he is not supervising shooting at Chatcombe Estate he will be found on many of the Cotswold shoots either loading or acting as a shooting instructor.
